Wowza Community

Video works in VLC but not in Flash or mobile

I changed the bitrate to 256 (was 1500), 256 is the lowest possible setting. Still am not seeing the video but the warning message from Wowza seems to have been corrected.

I will go through this guide… the camera is IQinVision IQA25N

I tried adding this property to RTP/Properties

rtpDePacketizerWrapper

com.wowza.wms.rtp.depacketizer.RTPDePacketizerWrapperReChunkMPEGTS

It caused some errors and did not produce video in the Flash player, I have removed it.

Do I need to look at the Dynamic Streaming for Flash Player?

I am able to view the camera directly using rtsp, and view the camera stream by Wowza using rtsp with the VLC viewer

Hi

When you press play in the Flash player goes is get noted in the Wowza logs now that you are @ 256 (kbps)?

Jason

I don’t see in the logs where it is recorded.

Hi

Is the flash player you’re using the Wowza example player?

Check the connection and play message in Wowza via the logs.

Just post the logs here if that’s easier.

Jason

I have tried several players including that one… except is is “live.html” not livevideosteaming.html (I don’t have a file called livevideostreaming.html)

Quick update… I have tried the silverlight player, this does work. My concern with using this is that it isn’t as prevalent as Flash and would like to get Flash working if possible.

If it plays in Silverlight it should play in Flash. Show exactly what you put in the player at live.html, the rtmp url in the Server box and stream name Stream box, and what log output you see in Wowza console when you click play.

If not working yet, zip up and send conf and logs folders to support@wowza.com. Include a link to the thread for reference.

Is the camera source on a public IP?

Richard

The camera is not on a public address.

Server: rtmp://mediaplayer.bccompany.com/live

Stream: camera.stream

on Wowza console:

INFO session connect-pending [IP address hidden]

INFO session connect [IP hidden]

INFO stream create - -

INFO stream play camera.stream

I have sent the logs and conf in an email…

After further checks on firewalls and policies I am fairly confident that nothing is being blocked. I guess ultimately I need to understand if this is an issue with the camera feed or if it is an issue with Wowza, and if it is something that we can resolve. This will be the deciding factor in our purchasing decision. We have done further checks and confirmed that the crossdomain.xml file is being found properly through port 1935 so this can be ruled out as an issue.

I certainly appreciate the help that has been provided, but my frustration level is getting pretty high.

Hello,

I have the same problem, please reply here on your progress

I use DAHUA DVR as rtsp source (H264)

I’m able to see WOWZA’s stream using VLC and iPhone, but RTMP stream returns no video, I have used JWPlayer, and all your examples, as well

Please reply,Thanks
