    Default MKV Support in 4.1.1

    Hi folks,

Has anyone managed to stream an mkv file with Wowza 4 ? There was a suggesting in an old thread to use the mp4 prefix but this didn't work for me.
The mkv file contains the following streams and plays fine in VLC.
    Video: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
    Audio: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)

    Regards

    Hi,
MKV isn't currently supported. It's something we might support in the future.
I'll let our product management team know of your interest in this.

    Hi Daren,

Is there any update on this ? It would be nice to know if its on the roadmap or not.
Is there anyway to accelerate feature requests ?

    Regards

    Hi,
There's no update available on this. I'll see if I can get a status, but we can't promise features will be implemented, only that they will be considered.
