Default CORS configuration with wowza v 3.2.1

We have a customer who is trying to use their own player for their HLS stream. They view our CORS configuration as “wrong" and suggested to enable "Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *"

our wowza server version is below.

Wowza Media Server 3 Monthly Edition 3.1.2 build1624.

please help me to enable this. and what are the drawback of enabling this.

    Hi Devang,

I moved your question to the correct sub-forum, since you are asking about Wowza Media Server version 3.

To answer your question, you can add CORS headers to your Wowza server. However, you will need to update to at least 3.5 or above, and add the cupertinoUserHTTPHeaders property to your application's HTTPStreams configuration. This is discussed on another thread in adding the CORS headers.
