I want to try the digest autheitication for RESTInterface and changed the Authenticationmethod to digest and encoding sheme to sha256 in the server.xml file. After restarting the server, i can’t log in to the wowza streaming engine manager aswell as i can’t reach the Rest API through commands. Am i supposed to do sth more in order to make it work ?

There could be multiple reasons for the issue. We can help troubleshoot the issue through as support ticket as it would require us to review your Wowza Streaming Engine logs, and configuration files, and possibly have you start the Wowza Streaming Engine in standalone mode.
