Error in playback of live vedio

not able to play the stream in any of the test player.in the server configuration under incoming streams everything is okk. but not able to play the stream

Welcome to the community @Sylverio_Malagon. So, if you can share more information, we can try and help. We need to know:

  • Camera source and protocol ( how are you sending it to Wowza?)

  • What is the protocol you are trying to play it back over? Is it HLS?

  • Please share your playback url that was provided to you in Engine Manager.

  • What test players have you used? The Wowza test player? Did you try VLC player yet?

  • What is the error message you see in the logs?

Here is an article to review how to properly set up your playback url no matter what protocol you’re using:
https://www.wowza.com/docs/about-playing-wowza-streaming-engine-streams

Try HLS playback to start in one of these players, then we can find out if it’s an error in your playback url since you say you can see the incoming stream in Engine. Make sure you copy and paste the HLS playback url from Engine and enter it correctly.

1.Camera source and protocol ( how are you sending it to Wowza?)
as of now I used my pc webcam as source and RTMP based OBS studio to provide stream to wowza server .

2.What is the protocol you are trying to play it back over? Is it HLS?
I tried both but dint worked for me when I tried mpeg-dash it dint worked though and for hls most of the player says not able to play http content over https.
I want to play my live stream to both android and ios device so let me know which is best option ?
3. Please share your playback url that was provided to you in Engine Manager.
this is the URl iOS http://13.59.225.47:1935/lrtv-boxing/teststream/playlist.m3u8
mpeg-dash http://13.59.225.47:1935/lrtv-boxing/teststream/manifest.mpd

4.What test players have you used? The Wowza test player? Did you try VLC player yet?
wowza player just doesnt worked for me at all anytime I had used vlc but that also dint worked .
I used theoplayer https://demo.theoplayer.com/test-your-stream-with-statistics and it worked for me once a week ago but now its also not playing my live stream.

  1. What is the error message you see in the logs?
not sure but its say waiting state
additional screenshot to help you better understand

Yes, use HLS for your stream to play on both Android and iOS. It’s says waiting because there is an error in your OBS url that you are trying to send to wowza.

Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this entire process with OBS.
