Getting Some Help with Streaming Server Configuration Error in Wowza

Hello Community,

I am encountering a few issues with my streaming server setup in Wowza and need some direction. Particularly, I am confronting errors related to Buffering or Playback Interruptions. I have checked my settings, reviewed the documentation, and tried troubleshooting steps, but I am still unable to resolve the issue.

Could someone please advise on how to troubleshoot and fix this streaming server configuration error ? Any experiences, tips, or suggested advances would be enormously valuable.

Thank you in advance for your help!

With Regards,
Marcos

Hi Marcos,

please open a support ticket from your Wowza account with a detailed issue description, so we can help in your individual use case. Also include your conf and log files please. There are several parameters which could have an effect here and weā€™d like to check your existing configuration.

Hey Bernd_Backhaus1,

I have read the document which you have provided But I didnā€™t understand how to create the configuration and log file. Can you please provide a tutorial video link so that I can get this details.

Thank you,
Marcos

Marcos,

we donā€™t have a video tutorial for this task, sorry. Itā€™s pretty straight-forward though:

with your favorite file manger, ZIP archiver or the commandline, go to the installation folder ( ā€œinstall-dirā€ ) where your Wowza Streaming Engine resides, and package the following folders - if present - into a single ZIP archive

  • [ install-dir ]/conf
  • [ install-dir ]/logs
  • [ install-dir ]/transcoder
  • [ install-dir ]/manager/logs

and either include it with the ticket, or upload it to a safe place like a non-public OneDrive or Dropbox folder, and include a private link in the ticket.
