HTML5 video playback

Hi,

Using the vanilla “live” application and OBS, I am streaming and playing back with VLC fine. Using the HTML5 live streaming example (on wowza website) however I get a 404 from the dev tools in Chrome. No proxy, same network/no firewalls

what am I doing wrong? Cheers

Hey there.

Can you provide a screenshot of the player page and the dev console?
Also, try testing the playback here: https://www.wowza.com/testplayers
This player works with HLS and DASH streams.
If you are using a non SSL playback URL you will then need a test player that is also not using SSL.
http://stream-tester.jwplayer.com/ has a Depreciated option that is a non SSL player which would work for non SSL playback URL from Wowza Streaming Engine.

I am having the same problem. Is there a way to get a quick response? I need to get this project up and working again. I had it working a year ago now when I try to rebuild it the same way it does not work.
