SRT Stream Target in "waiting mode"

I have configured an SRT stream target pointing to a known-working SRT destination and port. I am sourcing off of an RTMP ingest that I have verified as good and active. Stream targets in enabled, and the actual SRT target is enabled as well, but it remains in “waiting” mode. Logs are shwoing a PushPublish error (below). What does this error mean?

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Menlo; color: #000000} span.s1 {font-variant-ligatures: no-common-ligatures} span.Apple-tab-span {white-space:pre}

That error is reporting that the server cannot find your PushPublish stream @Thomas Van Stockum and in order to find where the error is, tech support would need you to submit a support ticket so they can view your configuration and run some tests on it. Thank you- you can do that here and they will reach out to you and help solve this with you.

We did fix a bug related to this issue in Streaming Engine 4.8.10

  • Fixed an issue with the Stream Targets page in Wowza Streaming Engine Manager showing an incorrect status (Waiting) for Active streams.
