Stream smil file from our server

Which is the solution when the smil can not be alongside the content? Is there any to build an SMIL with absolute path to the mp4 files? Maybe MediaCache?

It won’t work. The smil file has to be alongside the content.

Yes. I have the URLs for MP4 files and mediacache installed. I’m able to play them as

rtmp://[MyWowza]:1935/mediacache/mp4:http/[myhostedvideo].mp4

. It works fine. But how may I create a SMIL from this files? Do you understand?

Thanks for replying. I understood what you said. I’m a wowza beginner yet, I’ll have to learn first how to use the API before trying your solution.
