How to Solve “Wowza Streaming Engine Manager could not connect to the Wowza Streaming Engine service(http://localhost:8087).”

I installed Wowza Streaming Engine 4.8.4, but I try to login show error.

Wowza Streaming Engine Manager could not connect to the Wowza Streaming Engine service(http://localhost:8087). Verify that the Wowza Streaming Engine service has started and is running.

REST API not started (initialization).

Can you please verify that Wowza Streaming Engine is running by going to http://[wowza-ip-address]:1935

That is an unauthorized or “crack” license key for Wowza Streaming Engine. I would recommend you uninstall and delete that immediately as Wowza has no control over the experience you would get with that version or license key.
