How can we sort the issue of audio on woza with restream and transcoding profiles as it seems not to work

there is a serious issue with streams audio as even after transcoding no audio will come out of the stream…is there any restriciton or audio source types not supported on your platform. Also merely restreaming will cause audio loss for some reason and I have enabled audo and video match or whatever you call it.

If there is any restrictions or anything we can do to sort this please let me know.

Thanks @Xhoan Lee for asking and here are some charts showing the accepted audio inputs and outputs supported by Wowza.

And for audio outputs we have this chart:

You can check to see which audio inputs and outputs are supported. Make sure that your transcoder profile is set up correctly (by default, the audio is set to “passthrough”) so that the audio is transcoded, if required.

If that doesn’t clear it up, provide more detail on what protocols you’re using and your workflow and I’ll take a look to see if it could be an encoding setting or a transcoder config issue.

In the transcoder @Xhoan Lee, your option is to set it to passthrough and it will allow the passthrough of ac3. We can’t transcode it because of a license requirement with Dolby. I’m looking for the property you may need to edit.
