Pause Resume with VOD Edge application

Hi all,

I created a VOD Edge application streaming videos on an android device from a webserver. I am having trouble with pausing and resuming playback. I can successfully pause a video but on attempting to resume the video it a dialog appears saying “Retrieving stream” then brings another saying “Playback cannot continue”. How can I enable pause resume on a vod edge application?

The fact that you can pause the video sounds like you have configured it correctly, but that error message was originally created for poor network conditions. However, that was written a long time ago and it may be outdated and irrelevant to what is triggering it now.

I am going to share two docs with you and then if the samples still do not help you, I would suggest submitting a support ticket so we can check the logs to see what is happening behind the scenes with the resume function.
