Question for Wowza Streaming Engine connection on my server linux

hi, i have a linux VPS server with centos os7 with cpane/whm , the server have this hardware: 10 cores Intel® Xeon® E5-2630v4 , 60gb ram, ssd disk, UNLIMITED traffic bandwith, 1 Gbit/s port. if i buy Wowza Streaming Engine , this package: Annual Pay $65 for each prepaid instance, and i install it in the server, i use only for one stream live , the stream arrive from obs studio at 2000kbps , 720p, how many people will be able to connect to my server on that stream simultaneously? and besides paying the 65 dollars a month will I have other costs? thanks

Estimating a single 720p source stream, at ~2 Mbps, you can expect approximately 400 client/viewers. The primary constraint to scale is the capability of the NIC, using this rule as a guide:

_(stream bitrate * max concurrent clients) < server bandwidth_

For paid license holders, Wowza does provide a load test tool, which we strongly recommenced using in discovery of actual server streaming capacity.

The 10 core CPU compliment will allow you to set up Wowza for adaptive bit rate delivery, using the Transcoder module. More detail here:
