As an AddOn to Wowza Media Server® 3, Wowza® nDVR stores content in a normalized format as a single live stream cache that enables users to deliver time-shifted playout experience to viewers - on PCs, tablets, smartphones and TVs.

Overview

Wowza nDVR AddOn enables Wowza® licensees to increase revenues and viewer engagement. Currently in Beta release, Wowza nDVR AddOn provides the ability to record a live stream with Wowza Media Server 3 while simultaneously allowing users to play, pause, rewind or resume the  stream. Compared to client-specific implementations, Wowza nDVR significantly reduces cost by minimizing network storage requirements and simplifying the delivery workflow for all screens.
