Player configuration details page in Wowza Video

This article introduces the different parts of the Player configuration detail page to help you find your way around the Wowza Video user interface.

  • General
    • Player ID — Identifies the specific player configuration.
    • Name – A short, descriptive identifier for the player configuration that differentiates it from other player configurations.
    • Make this the default player – If true, this player configuration is the default player and used in all new live stream or video playback experiences, unless you explicitly choose a new player configuration.
    • Playback options
      • Autoplay – Specifies whether the video starts playing automatically when the page loads. Some browsers and most mobile devices only allow muted autoplay.
      • Muted – Specifies whether the video starts playing with the sound turned off.
