Wowza Media Systems and Adobe Systems Settle Patent Cases

Court Dismissal Ends Patent Litigation Between Adobe and Wowza

Golden, Colo. – March 4, 2015 – Wowza® Media Systems, LLC, provider of Simply Powerful Streaming™ software and cloud services, today announced that the two lawsuits brought by Adobe® Systems, Inc. against Wowza have been settled and dismissed with prejudice. The dismissals mark the end of all existing patent litigation between Wowza and Adobe. 

“We’ve remained highly confident of our legal position, and we were looking forward to resolving the issues in court. Nonetheless, we are pleased to have all matters definitively resolved through settlement,” said David Stubenvoll, co-founder and CEO of Wowza Media Systems. “Wowza continues to offer products with RTMP, RTMP enhanced, RTMP encrypted and HTTP dynamic streaming functionality.”
