Wowza Media Systems Announces Licensing Agreement With Dalet Digital Media Systems

EVERGREEN, CO., September 9, 2010—Wowza Media Server® 2, the unified media server software that simultaneously delivers content to any media platform and any screen, is now integrated into Dalet Enterprise Edition Media Asset Management (MAM) under a licensing agreement announced today by Wowza Media Systems®.

The integration of Wowza Media Server 2 adds market-proven streaming capabilities to the Dalet MAM platform’s already powerful functionality, which includes shot selection, rough-cut editing, quick timeline preview, asset logging, and metadata definition. With integrated Wowza Media Server 2, DaletPlus Webspace Flash® client users will enjoy new capabilities including easy preview of H.264-encoded assets using trick play features like frame-accurate fast forward and rewind.
