Golden, Colo.— September 2, 2015 — Wowza Media Systems™, the leading software and cloud-based services provider that continuously solves the complexities of high-quality video and audio streaming for organizations worldwide, today announced the release of the Wowza GoCoder™ Private Label product. Now, Wowza customers have the ability to deliver a white label custom mobile encoding solution to end users to further simplify the live streaming workflow.

The Wowza GoCoder mobile app is a live audio and video encoding application available on the Apple iTunes store for the iPhone 3GS or newer, the iPad 4th generation or newer, and on the Google Play store for Android devices 4.1 and later. The Wowza GoCoder app enables users to broadcast HD quality live events on-the-go from any location to any screen.

Now, Wowza™ customers can customize GoCoder’s branding and configuration settings, and deploy it directly to the Apple iTunes and Google Play stores.

Ensemble Video developed a mobile app using the GoCoder Private Label product. The new EnsembleLive app (iOS and Android) enables customers to easily record content directly to an Ensemble Video media library, while live streaming video and audio in real-time directly from a smartphone or tablet.

“In today’s mobile-obsessed world, success relies on sharing what’s happening from anywhere, at anytime,” said Andy Covell, CEO and founder, Ensemble Video. “The GoCoder Private Label offering gives us the flexibility and customizations we need to simplify mobile streaming and recording workflows. Wowza Media Systems continues to provide innovative streaming technologies that we can leverage to enhance content creation and viewing, and stay ahead of the curve.”

The Wowza GoCoder app is free to use, and subscription to the Wowza GoCoder Private Label offering is separately priced. Wowza will be demonstrating the GoCoder app at the IBC Show in Amsterdam, September 11-15, Stand 3.B18. To learn more, visit
