Announcing: In-Browser Compositing With WebRTC

November 12, 2020 by

Our WebRTC GitHub repository contains tons of example code, with its latest addition demonstrating in-browser compositing for publishing a WebRTC stream to Wowza Streaming Engine.

In-browser compositing with WebRTC allows you to create scenes made up of various sources that include multicamera captures, browser windows, webcams, and more. You can toggle between multiple scenes or participants seamlessly and also add custom titling and graphics.

These examples are currently built in React, and they can be tested using the hosted WebRTC composite test page.

Leverage the powerful client-side capabilities of modern browsers to level up the WebRTC experience with Wowza.
