Future of Social TV: Experimentation

Finally, the future of social TV is experimentation. (Part 4)

As we’ve seen over the past year, experimentation will continue to be the defining force of social TV in the near future. Producers and broadcasters will undoubtedly explore new technologies and opportunities in order to leverage this reimagined phenomenon and to engage audiences. As a result, infrastructure providers will be challenged to keep up with the surge in usage, bandwidth consumption, compute power and immediacy to ensure that the future of social TV lives up to viewer’s expectations.

Social TV is breathing new life into a medium that’s been around for generations and has become such an integral part of our history, our culture and our daily lives. It’s a privilege to be a part of this convergence of media that is on the cusp of the next great evolution in technology and viewer experience. It will be very exciting to see how the collective creativity and democratization of media creation and consumption shapes the future of TV.
