Wowza Showcasing the Latest in Video Streaming Technology at NAB 2016
NAB 2016 kicks off today, and Wowza is ready to talk streaming all day, every day. As with years past, we have made lots of recent product and partner announcements and we're ready to show those to the world.
This year we're also showcasing the latest in streaming technology. In conjunction with YouTube, Wowza will be one of the first companies to demo new live-streaming capabilities by pushing live streams to YouTube Live using VP9 video compression and dynamic streaming with MPEG-DASH. Additionally, Wowza was invited to be one of the early adopters of the Facebook Live API, and we have enabled the functionality to publish to Facebook Live directly from Wowza Streaming Engine.
