Maintenance and support is included with a Wowza Streaming Engine monthly subscription, or may be purchased as one-year or three-year contracts for Wowza Streaming Engine perpetual licenses.

Perpetual Edition Customers

To provide exceptional support services to all customers, Wowza introduced maintenance and support contracts with the release of Wowza Streaming Engine v4.
 
A one-year maintenance and support contract is included with all new perpetual license purchases to ensure the success of your streaming project. You must renew by the end of your first year to continue accessing maintenance and support benefits.

 

For Wowza Media Server v1.x–v3.x Perpetual Edition customers:
You will receive complimentary maintenance and support benefits through September 30, 2015. You must renew your contract prior to September 30 to continue uninterrupted maintenance and support coverage. Contact us at sales@wowza.com for assistance.

Trial and Developer Licenses

Trial and developer versions of Wowza software are entitled to receive online technical support for one user per license (while the license is active). Trial and developer license holders are not entitled to upgrades.

 

 

AWS Marketplace Customers

If you're using Wowza Streaming Engine software on AWS Marketplace, register for maintenance and support via Wowza Support for AWS Marketplace Subscribers.

 

 

Entering Support Contacts for Your Account

Adding support contacts to your account allows you to grant other people access to all paid maintenance and support services for your Wowza Streaming Engine license. This includes the ability to open technical support tickets and access to the latest software releases.

 
The Wowza Streaming Engine license holder is automatically added as a support contact and may add four additional individuals to their account. Follow these easy steps to register your additional support contacts:
 

  1. Sign in to My Account. If you do not have a Wowza account, please follow the steps to create one. Be sure to use the same email address when creating your Wowza account that you used when you purchased your software.
  2. Click the My Support tab.
  3. Under My Support select the + Add link.
  4. Add your contact names and email addresses.
  5. Click the Save button.
