Home page in Wowza Video Legacy

This article introduces the different parts of the Home page to help you find your way around the Wowza Video user interface.

  1. Hours Viewed – Snapshot of account wide hours viewed for all streams over the last 30 days.
  2. Hours Streamed – Snapshot of account wide hours streamed over the last 30 days.
  3. Viewer-Consumed Bandwidth (GB) – Snapshot of account wide viewer consumed bandwidth over the last 30 days.
  4. Usage – A snapshot of usage data for the current billing period.
    • Hours viewed – The number of playback hours for the stream
    • Hours Streamed – The number of hours streamed for the primary stream target.
    • Hours Streamed to Additional Targets – The number of  hours streamed to additional stream targets.
       
      Sending a stream to a target is known as egress. We include egress for one stream target per stream in your subscription. When you send a single stream to multiple targets, you are charged egress for the additional stream targets.
    • Viewer-Consumed Bandwidth (GB) – The amount of bandwidth that is consumed from viewers.
    • Ultra Low Latency Bandwith – The amount of bandwidth sent to ultra low latency stream targets.
    • HLS/HDS Bandwidth – The amount of content that Wowza Video processed through CDN stream sources and Wowza CDN stream targets. It also shows egress for 24x7 live streams and passthrough transcoders. Egress usage updates in near real-time.  CDN bandwidth for Wowza CDN on Fastly targets also updates in near real-time.
    • Transcoded Stream Processing Time – The number of processing hours used by all adaptive bitrate live streams and custom transcoders in your account in the current billing period. Transcoded stream processing time updates in near real-time.
    • Passthrough Stream Processing Time – The number of processing hours used by all passthrough transcoders in your account in the current billing period. Passthrough stream processing time updates in near real-time.
    • Egress – The amount of content that leaves Wowza Video and goes to a CDN or stream target.
    • Peak Storage – The peak amount of recorded content stored in Wowza Video to date in the current billing period. Storage data is available and updated as soon as Wowza Video finishes processing a recording or VOD stream.
  5. Recent activity – Summary of the five most recent events that have occurred on the account.
