Plans & products page in Wowza Video

This article introduces the different parts of the Plans & Products page to help you find your way around the Wowza Video user interface. You must be an org owner or billing manager role to view and update product and plan information.   

To view the Plans & Products page, click your user profile in the upper left of any screen, then click Plans & Products under Organization

The following contains all of the configuration options and definitions available to manage your plans and products for your account:

  • Wowza Video – Displays account Wowza Video plans and their status'.
    • Your Current Plan  – Displays the name of the Wowza Video plan you have and its status. For example, you may have a Wowza Video Pay-As-You-Go plan that's Active or you may have a Wowza Video Trial that's Expiring Soon.
      • Status (displays to the right of Your Current Plan as one of the bulleted, bold items below) – The state of your plan.
        • Start a Trial Now – Status that indicates you can start a 30-day Wowza Video Trial by clicking Start a Trial Now. In certain circumstances, you can start a trial from this page. 
        • Trial Active  –  Status that indicates your Wowza Video trial is active, meaning you can log in and use the features of the application. The section also indicates how many days you have left in your trial. You can click Upgrade Now on the page at any time to purchase a Wowza Video plan and end your trial.
        • Expiring Soon –  Status that indicates your Wowza Video trial is expiring soon. The section also indicates how many days you have left in your trial. When there are ten or less days left in your trial, this status displays. You can click Upgrade Now on the page at any time to purchase a Wowza Video plan and end your trial.  
        • Expired  – Status that indicates your Wowza Video trial has expired, meaning you can log in, but can't use any of the features of the application. You can either click Upgrade Now on the page to purchase a Wowza Video plan or click Extend Trial to extend your trial another 30 days. You can only extend a trial or upgrade to paid if you're an org owner. 
        • Active – Status that indicates your Wowza Video paid plan is active, meaning you can log in and use the features of the application.
        • Canceled – Status that indicates your Wowza Video paid plan has been canceled, meaning you can log in, but can't use the features of the application. You can click Reactivate Plan to change your paid plan to Active.
