The free trial of Wowza Streaming Engine (WSE) provides:

Get a trial account


It's simple for new or existing Wowza customers to try out Wowza Streaming Engine.

New customers

Follow the instructions on the Wowza trial page to start your free trial subscription. After verifying your email, you will receive the trial license key by email.

Note: If you need more than one active Wowza Streaming Engine trial license at a time, contact us.

Existing customers

If you have a Wowza paid subscription or free trial, and are an org owner, go to your My Account portal to start a free trial connected to your existing account. Once in your portal, under the Products tab, click Start free trial to start your trial. You can access:

  • A Wowza Video free trial if you don't have an active, unexpired Wowza Video trial, Wowza Video paid subscription, or Wowza Streaming Cloud subscription.
  • A Wowza Streaming Engine free trial if you don't have an active, unexpired Engine trial.

Purchase


At the end of your 30-day trial, you may purchase a license and continue to use Wowza Streaming Engine. The full license includes upgrades such as:

  • The three (3) inbound and ten (10) outbound connection limit is removed from your account.
  • You will no longer see video and audio watermarks on transcoded content.
  • The number of transcoded streams available is upgraded from one (1) to ten (10).
  • Your account can use Wowza Streaming Engine as an HTTP origin.
