Change UDP port recycle time (ServerListenerUDPPortRecycleTime)

The UDPPortRecycleTime server listener for Wowza Streaming Engine™ enables you to change the time when UDP ports are recycled. When UDP ports are released, they aren't reallocated immediately to accommodate situations where cameras that aren't aware that a session has ended continue to send data. The port recycle time is the amount of time that elapses before released ports can be re-allocated. If you have many new connections, you may need to reduce the recycle time. This will shorten port turn-around time. If you experience interference from old connections, you may need to increase the recycle time.

Note: Wowza Streaming Engine™ 4.0 or greater is required.

A compiled version of the UDPPortRecycleTime server listener is included in the Wowza Module Collection.

To enable the server listener, add the following server listener definition to your server. See Configure server listeners for details.
