• How to stop load balancer redirects when the edge server limit has been reached (ModuleLoadBalancerEdgeLimitConnections)

    This module, installed on a Load Balancer Edge Server application, will pause the Load Balancer Sender function so that the Load Balancer Sender does not redirect new clients after the edge server has reached the set limit.

    Notes:
    • The server must be configured as a Load Balancer Listener. In order for this to work, follow this guide.

    • This module does not limit connections directly. You could still connect directly to an edge server that is over the limit, but the Load Balancer Sender will not redirect new clients to it.
    A compiled version of this module is included in the Wowza Module Collection.

    To enable this module, add the following module definition to your application. See Configure modules for details.
